Why we aim to connect marine science with the world
At Depth's mission is to bridge the gap between marine science and the wider world. We believe that understanding and protecting the oceans is crucial for the health of our planet, and that the power of scientific discovery can only be fully realized when shared with diverse audiences.

Having studied Environmental and Ocean Sciences for four years in San Diego, Katie developed a deep respect and admiration for the ocean. After six weeks sailing across the pacific to French Polynesia researching carbon sequestration, she saw first hand major threats the ocean faces. Ever since, she's been dedicated to engaging people from everywhere in marine science and conservation.
